Request for Participation in a Study to Investigate Global Virtual Team Members' Perceptions of Leader Practices

We invite your participation in a research study on leader communication and best practices in global virtual teams. APMP member and Doctoral Candidate LaBrita Cash-Baskett, MA, CCC-SLP, AM.APMP is conducting a study on global virtual team communication best practices. This study focuses on team members who have had experiences with a leader in geographically dispersed teams, with particular interest in the impact of proposal managers as leaders on team effectiveness.

Using qualitative research methods, this exploratory study seeks to understand how members of real global virtual teams experience leader communications and how leadership inspires a willingness from participative members to be productive, engaged, and motivated.

LaBrita is seeking volunteers to participate in the study.

2009 SPAC Recognized at APMP Annual Conference

At the recent APMP International Conference in Orlando, the Carolinas, Georgia Chattahoochee, and Florida Sunshine chapters received the APMP Special Event award for the 2009 Southern Proposal Accents Conference. This award recognizes the continued success of the SPAC as a regional learning and networking event for proposal professionals. Congratulations to all of the 2009 SPAC committee members!
