Exorcize Your Proposal Demons: The Consultant-Client Conflict Demon. Conflict can affect everyone on a company's proposal team, including subcontractors and proposal consultants. It's tough enough for a company to run an effective proposal team when its proposal resources are employees it knows, manages, and controls (or at least thinks it controls). Add subcontractors and consultants who are unfamiliar to the team, and it can be even tougher.

CEO/COO Forum: Leading Through Change. Looking over the past year, it’s apparent that the leadership challenges of a volunteer organization never get any easier. While there has been a surge in accredited members, continual growth in our membership base around the globe, and a renewed commitment to offer more personal and professional growth opportunities, APMP struggles to groom new officers, has moved chapters to inactive status and collaborates with other organizations to achieve common goals in tough economic times.

Proposal Lone Ranger: R.E.S.P.E.C.T. During my career, I have worked for companies that treat their proposal staff as administrative staff, not as experts or professionals. Where this happened, I often had to work long hours and had to reschedule my life to meet unplanned deadlines.
