Learning From Losing. Losing is a fact of life in the proposal business. Although we would all like to ignore this statistical fact, most proposals are losing proposals. In competitions for awards that have revenues attached to them, only one company wins. The rest lose. Accreditation Corner. During the October—November 2009 period, there were 119 Foundation Level accreditations awarded. This two-month total is more than the annual total for Foundation Level accreditations from 2004 to 2006 since the first accreditation was issued in 2004.
