This is the entry level for bids and proposals accreditation. To achieve this level you will have a minimum of one year of experience working in a proposals-related environment, and will be able to demonstrate your commitment to improving your skills in this area.
This level of accreditation is the only level open to non-members of APMP. If you are not a member of APMP, we are not able to verify your accreditation status against our member database.
Assessment Process
There are two parts to the accreditation at APMP-Foundation™ level:
- You must provide the name of a reference person to APMP, (such as your line manager, a peer or a commissioning client) who is prepared to confirm that you have worked for at least one year in a bids and proposals environment.
- You must pass the multiple-choice examination, by answering at least 42 out of 75 questions correctly.
Notification of Results
You will be notified of your pass or fail result on-line immediately after completing the examination.
If you successfully pass the examination, a Certificate will be sent to you confirming your achievement of APMP-Foundation™ Level within 2–4 weeks of completing the examination.
Continuing Professional Development
You are required to earn CEU credits (Continuing Education Units) to maintain your accreditation. Please review the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines for the APMP Accreditation Program.
