APMP-Foundation™ Level Preparation

You Should Read the Following Carefully Before Proceeding

You must complete the examination in one hour. After one hour, you will be timed out.

The examination consists of 75 multiple choice questions. To qualify for the APMP-Foundation™ level, you must answer 42 or more questions correctly.

Unless you have reasonable grounds for an appeal, if you fail this examination you will have to wait up to six months before we will allow you to take it again.

APMP strongly advises all candidates to prepare before taking this examination. This examination tests current best practices in bids and proposals, and is designed as an open book examination. This allows you access to any paper based reference material during the examination.

Current sources of information relevant to the examination include:

  1. The APMP Accreditation Glossary should be studied by all examination candidates, to ensure that no confusion arises over the use of terminology
  2. Microsoft® Word Training – These on-line workshops provide an overview of best practices in writing any documents
  3. The Shipley Proposal Guide – available in the USA from amazon.com or the Shipley Associates website, or in Europe from the Shipley Limited website
  4. The Lore Institute and "Proposing to Win" by David G. Pugh,Terry R. Bacon, Deneil Hogan
