Virtual2: A virtual meeting about virtual working
Thursday, February 24, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Webcast meeting with venues in San Diego, Orange County, South Bay, Woodland Hills, and Redlands
Free to members and guests, but RSVPs are required: Send your RSVP to Mitch Boretz with the names of those who are attending, and you will get directions to the venue you have chosen.
It’s happened to many of us already: forced, or offered, to trade the corporate office for a desk at home. Can a remote proposal team operate as efficiently as an onsite team? What are the advantages and disadvantages for proposal writers who work at home offices? At our February meeting, we will discuss the changes in what "going to work" means, and how this affects our work and our careers. The meeting will feature discussions of experiences and best practices by APMP members who have been there.
Would you like to share your perspectives or experiences on working from home, "hoteling," working in a virtual team, or getting sent to a remote site to work on a proposal? Send an e-mail to Mitch Boretz and Kathy Rosado, and we will be sure that you are part of the presentation. Of course, if you have comments during the meeting, you will have an opportunity to share those as well.
We will look forward to "seeing" you on the 24th.
