Qualification: Best Practice Techniques & the Practitioner PPAQ

For the first time, the APMP UK are facilitating a series of half day workshops on Tuesday 21st October, the preceding day to the main Annual Skills and Development Summit.  These workshops are being run in addition to the usual APMP certification courses, thereby offering you a wider choice of formal certification and training.

The four workshops are designed to offer formal training which meet the requirements of some of the competencies required to pass the Practitioner accreditation. This is not the only reason to attend, as the courses are worthwhile learning events in themselves, whether you are considering certification or not.  The courses are priced at the very competitive rate of £35* per 3-hour session, covering only room hire and training material costs.  Shipley and Strategic Proposals are generously providing their time and expertise at no charge.  Surely an opportunity too good to be missed? All course places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and spaces are limited.

This three hour session will provide you with competency training that has been specifically designed to meet the standards required by APMP for Practitioner Certification.

Effective "bid / no bid” decisions are critical to the success of any proposal function. Yet even where a qualification process is in place, many proposal teams find themselves chasing deals that have a low probability of success, without the necessary resources.

This interactive workshop will help you to understand the secrets of implementing an effective qualification process. What criteria should be used? Who needs to be involved in the process – and how can you secure their commitment? When should it take place? How do you implement a truly robust process?

Additionally, at the end of the workshop, we will look at the "Opportunity Qualification” competency within APMP’s Practitioner certification, and will help those working on their PPAQ to complete the necessary paperwork.

In addition to the 10 CEU credits you will receive for attending the 2 remaining days of the Skills Development Summit  this training will earn you 3 CEU credits per module
