Capture Planning: Best Practice Techniques & the Practitioner PPAQ

For the first time, the APMP UK are facilitating a series of half day workshops on Tuesday 21st October, the preceding day to the main Annual Skills and Development Summit.  These workshops are being run in addition to the usual APMP certification courses, thereby offering you a wider choice of formal certification and training.

The four workshops are designed to offer formal training which meet the requirements of some of the competencies required to pass the Practitioner accreditation. This is not the only reason to attend, as the courses are worthwhile learning events in themselves, whether you are considering certification or not.  The courses are priced at the very competitive rate of £35* per 3-hour session, covering only room hire and training material costs.  Shipley and Strategic Proposals are generously providing their time and expertise at no charge.  Surely an opportunity too good to be missed? All course places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and spaces are limited.

This three hour session will provide you with competency training that has been specifically designed to meet the standards required by APMP for Practitioner Certification.

Capture Plan Development is the process of managing and engaging in the pre-competition phase in an organised way that is designed to increase win potential. When carried out effectively Winning Price development is carried out first during the pre-competition phase and then re-visited.  Whether or not your organisation does Capture Planning, there are some key principles that should be applied to develop a winning price that is most likely to be acceptable to the customer. This workshop will consider how to apply your existing skills and knowledge in these competencies to engage and manage the process to identify, articulate, and implement winning strategies that are designed to capture a specific business opportunity.

If you are struggling to complete these competencies in your PPAQ, this is a must attend workshop.

In addition to the 10 CEU credits you will receive for attending the 2 remaining days of the Skills Development Summit  this training will earn you 3 CEU credits per module
