Invitation to attend the APMP UK October event with speaker:
Andrew Byrant, CGI Ltd
THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT ON BID OUTCOMES
Tuesday 7th October 2014 | Wokingham, Berkshire
Why do some bids end up with the team working long hours and weekends without delivering the anticipated win?
Organisations sometimes place insufficient emphasis on both the suitability of people chosen to work on bids and their potential to work as a cohesive team. So… what are the leadership and management qualities that make the difference between a well-managed bid which, although hard work, is considered an enjoyable team effort, and one which descends into chaos and recrimination?
Using examples and war stories he will illustrate techniques for negotiaing sticky situations and maintaining challenging schedules, inspiring and guiding diverse teams to work towards a shared destination. This lively session will share concepts that will benefit your role, whether you lead, manage or are a contributing team member..
