About the Moderator
Christina Lewellen, MBA
Vice President, Business Development and Operations, APMP
Christina Lewellen
began her career in journalism, working in newspaper, TV, and magazine settings before moving into association management. She earned her executive MBA at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she now serves on the alumni board of the Saunders College of Business. As the vice president of business development and operations for APMP, she is charged with guiding the association into the future with strategic growth and expansion opportunities. She specializes in career development strategies and operational efficiencies among in-person and virtual teams.

About the Panelists

Ruth Belanger, CF APMP Fellow
Proposal Manager, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems

Ruth Belanger has been a Proposal Manager with Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems for 14 years. Previously at TRW, she performed for 10 years as the manager of technical publications, document control, and research services on a Department of Energy program. Her graduate and undergraduate work in Organizational Communications supports her ability to communicate equally well with authors and upper management. Ms. Belanger is accredited at the Foundation Level and is an APMP Fellow.

 

Betsy Cummings, CP APMP
Proposal Manager, Genesys
Betsy Cummings has fourteen years of proposal management and writing/editing experience. She has managed multiple and diverse teams to create winning proposals in federal, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. Betsy is a proposal manager and workshop trainer at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories. Betsy achieved practitioner-level certification in 2014. During 2011-2013, she served on the APMP board of directors and is the APMP Lone Star chapter’s co-chair. She regularly presents at various chapter meetings and conferences, including APMP Bid & Proposal Con.

 

Emily Taylor
Content Marketing Manager, ProposalSoftware

Emily Taylor is content marketing manager at Proposal Software, where she is responsible for developing sales collateral and marketing communications content, as well as generating Proposal Software’s sales proposals and RFP responses. Emily was a senior proposal manager for JPMorgan Chase & Co., responsible for managing RFP responses representing up to $1 billion in spending for corporate, government, healthcare, and education clients. She holds a bachelor of arts in journalism from Michigan State University.

Global Pursuits Group – Americas, EY LLP
Tania Villalonga, CF APMP, is a Communications and Pursuit Strategist (CaPS) for EY’s Global Pursuits Group where she co-leads a team of high-performing CaPS and Creative Design Managers across the US. Tania considers pursuit strategy as her fastball, helping teams develop, manage and execute integrated pursuit campaigns to help win new business. She brings more than 18 years of experience in proposal writing and management and 10 years of experience building and leading high-performing teams.
