Affiliation with a local area chapter is one of the core advantages to being an APMP member. Local area chapters provide opportunities to network with other members, to share best practices and to learn new techniques to solve problems. We realize that many unaffiliated members live or work in areas where there is no APMP chapter nearby. However, many chapters are now virtual, that is, they hold chapter meetings using online teleconferencing tools and call-in capabilities.
Perhaps there is a chapter that is right for you. Please visit the Chapters pages on the APMP website at http://www.apmp.org/ca-11.aspx. If you live or work near an existing chapter, please consider affiliating with that chapter. If you do not live or work near a local chapter, please consider affiliating with a virtual chapter, or a chapter that offers virtual meetings. . Contact the chapter chair for more details about their chapter’s programs.
To affiliate with a chapter, login to the APMP website, and then click View Account Detail from the Member Home page. Click Edit Account Information to change your chapter affiliation – your selected chapter will thank you!
If you are aware of other APMP members in your area, yet you do not have a local chapter charter, please consider starting one! The APMP Board of Directors will do everything we can to help you create and maintain an APMP chapter.
