Winning with Past Performance

Jim Hiles
Acquisition Solutions Architect, ASI Government

Past performance is a top government priority. Many changes have and are occurring with the collection, retention and use of past performance information.

This evolving system for monitoring, evaluating, documenting and archiving your firm’s past performance information has an immediate impact on your prospects and reputation in the marketplace.

Based on his new book "Winning with Past Performance: Strategies for Industry and Government” author Jim Hiles shares insights on proactively managing past performance and associated information, using an objective customer satisfaction program, actively managing Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System reports (CPARs), applying knowledge management principles to past performance information and using past performance and customer satisfaction inputs to improve performance and operations.

Winning with Past Performance provides an up-to-date understanding of this critical area and arms you with tools to assess your practices, increase win rates and improve contract performance.

Jim Hiles retired after a distinguished Navy career. Subsequently, he has led organizational development initiatives developing and refining contract, partner/vendor management, business development and service delivery functions. Jim is currently conducting research on strategy and competitor analysis. He has been both a buyer and a seller in the government contracting marketplace and is co-author of "Winning with Past Performance: Strategies for Industry and Government.
