What to Consider When Implementing a Proposal Automation System

Debi   O'Meara
Senior Project Manager, Qvidian

Amy Maxey
Marketing Programs Manager

In this session, panelists from Qvidian, 5/3 Bank, Blackbaud and Plante Moran will discuss many areas you need to consider when implementing a proposal automation system. It isn't as simple as just picking the right tool; you need to consider multiple issues related to your target audience, content, use, and team resources. Join this session to start developing a detailed scope and project plan for your implementation.

Debbie O'Meara has been a Qvidian project manager since 1999 and has consulted with large and small companies, as they customize and implement their Qvidian systems. Debbie brought sales and marketing experience to Qvidian, primarily in the banking industry where she was a vice president of international trade.  Prior to joining Qvidian, she contracted with a major utility company to implement sales force and proposal automation. As a result, she brings a unique mix of business insight and implementation know-how, plus a customer’s perspective on Qvidian.  Debbie has been listed in Who’s Who of Business Leaders and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.  She is a magna cum laude graduate in economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Amy Maxey has 15 years' marketing experience and manages marketing programs and events from strategy to execution to tracking the program’s success. Additionally, Amy oversees all aspects of Qvidian’s annual conference. In her previous marketing role with Qvidian, she was responsible for RFPs, product demonstrations and management of Qvidian’s products for our internal sales team to use. Prior to joining Qvidian, Amy ran the RFP operations for both ACS and MAXIMUS in their government services divisions. As a volunteer on her county’s local fair board, she puts her marketing knowledge to use on the advertising and special events committee. Amy holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Communications from Georgetown College in Kentucky.
