Widely recognized as a visionary thinker, Linda Stone is a writer, speaker, and advisor, focused on attention, technology, health, trends, and their strategic and consumer implications. Stone has coined a few phrases, including: continuous partial attention, email apnea, conscious computing, and Essential Self Technologies. She spent close to twenty years as an executive in high technology, at both Apple and Microsoft. She pioneered multimedia at Apple, then worked for CEO, John Sculley. She pioneered social computing at Microsoft, then worked for CEO, Steve Ballmer. Stone serves on a number of for profit and not for profit Advisory Boards.
