APMP Remembers Fritz Rumscheidt
APMP Greater Houston Chapter Treasurer Remembered for His Industry Commitment

Washington, DC, January 3, 2013 – The Association of Proposal Management Professionals® (APMP®) remembers Fritz D. Rumscheidt, PhD, born December 30, 1931, and who served as the APMP Greater Houston Chapter Treasurer from 1998 until his passing on November 15, 2012.

Mr. Rumscheidt was preparing for his retirement and stepping down as the APMP Greater Houston Chapter Treasurer.
He was an integral part of the chapter and helped establish the Greater Houston Chapter as one of the longest-running APMP chapters. He helped organize the 1999 National Fall Symposium and the 2010 Texas Symposium. During his career, he mentored many proposal professionals and encouraged their membership and involvement in APMP. In addition to his APMP contributions, Mr. Rumscheidt was active in the Bear Creek United Methodist Church (BCUMC) of Houston.

All of the APMP Greater Houston Chapter Board members remember Fritz as a generous, gentle man who always had a sparkle in his eye when sharing a story or talking about his travels. He will be sorely missed. The Chapter will make a donation in his memory to BCUMC or the American Red Cross, organizations he supported.
