Washington, DC, March 14, 2014 — APMP has awarded the management for its APMP Body of Knowledge (APMP BoK) project to Dragonfly Editorial of Tipp City, OH.
Dragonfly Editorial was selected from a highly qualified pool of APMP member companies for the right to provide editorial services and project manage the expansive the APMP BoK project. The APMP BoK will serve as the industry’s primary resource of best practices for proposal, bid, capture, business development and graphics industry professionals. In addition, the new APMP BoK will be the primary study reference for APMP’s Foundation Level Certification Exam.
Funding for the project was approved at the September 2013 APMP Board of Directors meeting. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
A panel of APMP members evaluated each proposal and awarded the project to Dragonfly Editorial who was cited for having the best overall understanding of the project and an excellent staff of writers and editors.
“The APMP Bok project will be one of the most important things that we do this year because it is directly linked to our number one member benefit – APMP’s certification program,” said Rick Harris, Executive Director of APMP. “It is critical that the BoK project directly tie to the APMP Glossary and the course question set so it can become the industry’s go to study aid for APMP’s Foundation level testing.”
Soon, every APMP member will have access to the association’s endorsed best practices, available electronically and free of charge, whether they take the Foundation Level Certification exam or not. That resource will be available to all APMP members as part of their membership.
Dragonfly Editorial will be working with APMP staff, members and others to complete the project by the end of 2014.
