APMP Breaks Webinar Registration and Attendance Record
APMP Members Take Advantage of Valuable, Free Training Opportunities

Washington, DC, February 26, 2015APMP® set a new record for webinar registrations, with the promotion of "The (Proposal) Checklist Manifesto,” presented by Samantha Enslen, President, Dragonfly Editorial, on February 25, 2015. More than 405 proposal and business development professionals registered to attend the session, part of the new APMP 2015 webinar series.

The session delivered insight into the importance of creating project checklists, what a checklist should include, how to get buy-in from colleagues and tools and resources that can aid in developing project, proposal and editing checklists.

"The purpose of this session is to make work easier, more organized and more efficient for industry players who are managing many projects at one time. It’s important for people to know of new resources that will help them achieve these goals and make their output more successful,” said Ms. Enslen.
Ms. Enslen also demonstrated how elements in the new APMP Body of Knowledge (BOK) will help streamline the proposal management and editing process across many organizations, to which one attendee commented, "You have no idea how often we reference the BOK.”

Ms. Enslen referenced The Checklist Manifesto by Dr. Atul Gawande, who used multiple case studies to prove how checklists simplify highly complex tasks and increase accuracy.

APMP attributes the record-breaking registration for this webinar to attendees’ desire to access helpful, easy-to-use strategies and resources that they will be able to implement immediately. Ms. Enslen also delivered a successful presentation at APMP Bid & Proposal Con 2014, and will speak at APMP Bid & Proposal Con 2015 on "Understanding the Federal Plain Language Guidelines.”
