APMP Celebrates Largest Bid & Proposal Con In Association’s History
Washington, DC, June 27, 2016 – The bid and proposal industry’s largest education and networking event set a new attendance record this year with 873 delegates from 20 countries participating at APMP’s Bid & Proposal Con in Boston, MA USA.
Bid, proposal, capture, business development, sales and marketing professionals outpaced the previous record-holding 2014 conference in Chicago by 22 delegates.
APMP has created a Fast Fact Bid & Proposal Con page on its website that tells the story of this year’s conference complete with statistics, photos of the event and presentations.
“The response to this conference was amazing,” said Rick Harris, Executive Director, APMP. “People used every minute of their time in Boston to learn from each other and network, which is exactly what APMP’s Bid & Proposal Con is designed to do.”
For the first time in the association’s 27 years, APMP’s Bid & Proposal Con was a sell-out. There were few hotel rooms left in the city due to the pent-up demand of APMP’s Bid & Proposal Con attendees.
Nic Adams, CF APMP and APMP CEO of the Board of Directors, said, “There was an undeniable energy in Boston this year that we think will carry though to New Orleans, LA USA in 2016. Many of the exhibitors that I spoke with said they had dramatically increased their leads from previous years and that attendees were incredibly engaged throughout the Conference.”
