Ireland Gets APMP Chapter

(Washington, DC) — August 24, 2011 — The Board of Directors of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP®), unanimously approved the chapter charter petition of APMP Ireland, making it the association's 30th chapter globally.
APMP Ireland will initially serve over 20 APMP members on the island of Ireland, which covers two legal jurisdictions (Ireland and Northern Ireland). The chapter will be headquartered in Dublin, but intends to move its future meetings throughout the country's urban areas.
The chapter's logo incorporates traditional symbolism of Ireland (the harp, Celtic lettering and the colours of the Irish flag) with elements of modern day Ireland (the euro symbol and contemporary Irish architecture) along with the words.
APMP Ireland will be led by its Board of Directors who are:
- Chapter Chair – Joanne Gillen
- Chapter Co-Chair & Membership Chair – Colin Borland
- Secretary/Treasurer – Peter Brennan
- Programs Chair – Derek Byrne
APMP Ireland has already scheduled meetings out through the end of the year and invites anyone who wished to attend to please check the APMP website event calendar for additional details.
