Jim Hiles To Emcee Bid & Proposal Con 2012

(Washington, DC) — February 22, 2012 — Jim Hiles, the Managing Director of Public Service Business Development for MorganFranklin and Conference Co-Chair for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP®) Bid & Proposal Con 2012 has been named the official conference Master of Ceremonies.

Bid & Proposal Con 2012 will be May 22-25, 2012 at The Sheraton Dallas Hotel, Dallas, TX. In addition to his Conference Co-Chair role, Mr. Hiles will serve as the Master of Ceremonies during the four days of Bid & Proposal Con. He will kick-off the Opening Night Reception in addition to all breakfasts, lunches and special events like the new APMP Annual Awards Celebration.

Hiles has experience with APMP’s Conference having managed the APMP Bookstore last year. He has also been active with area associations having served on the board of the Charles County (MD) Technology Council (CCTC), a presenter at APMP’s National Capitol Area’s Mid-Atlantic Conference, and as an Editor of and Contributor for APMP’s Journal.

Hiles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from The New School and a Master of Science in acquisition and finance from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is a certified Acquisition Professional, possesses DAWIA Level III Contracting certification, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the George Washington University in the Executive Leadership Program.
