APMP is pleased to feature APMP Bid & Proposal Con 2013 Certification Day, all in one day, in person and onsite at the Atlanta conference. Members can access all levels of accreditation opportunities and speak directly with the APMP Director of Accreditation and mentors, eager to help you achieve your APMP certification goals. 

Foundation Prep Class and Exam

 APMP Foundation Accreditation is the first step to demonstrating knowledge and understanding of bid and proposal management best practices. CSK Management will offer the Foundation Preparation Course and Exam at the Atlanta Conference. Registration is through the CSK website.

This 1-day workshop prepares participants for the APMP Foundation-Level examination and finishes with the written exam. Participants will

  • Be guided through the APMP Syllabus and become familiar with testing areas.
  • Learn the necessary terminology.
  • Review a complete set of sample questions to prepare for the exam.
  • Gain tips and skills for the examination (time management, answering techniques).
  • Take the exam at the end of the course and immediately learn of their test results (pass/fail).

Practitioner Quick Start Workshop

Register now for this workshop designed for APMP members registered to attend Bid & Proposal Con 2013, who would like to understand how to complete the Proposal Practitioner Assessment Questionnaire (PPAQ). The workshop will include:

  • Introduction to the PPAQ requirements
  • Discussion on how to use the PPAQ Standards and Guidelines to build your competency self-assessments
  • Individual coaching to develop compliant competency based evidence responses
  • Understanding of how to handle the more challenging competency areas
  • On-going support to complete your PPAQ

At the completion of this workshop, members will have completed up to 8 of their evidence responses and have a clear understanding of how to complete the remainder of their PPAQ within the next 4 to 6 weeks.

The cost does not include the cost of the Practitioner Assessment, paid when you complete your PPAQ.

Practitioner Completion Workshop

This is an intense full-day workshop for APMP members registered to attend Bid & Proposal Con 2013, who would like to complete the Proposal Practitioner Assessment Questionnaire (PPAQ) and achieve Practitioner Certification status. Participation in this workshop will require:

Professional Impact Presentations and Interviews

Registration: By Appointment Only, upon meeting specific criteria
A limited number of interview slots will be available for individuals to complete their Proposal Profession Impact Paper (PPIP) and competency-based interview.

Prior to the conference, candidates must

  • be an APMP member.
  • have registered for the Professional Practitioner Level assessment.
  • have their PPIP assessed by the Chief Examiner.
  • Nominate a reference for the behavioral competency assessment.
  • complete their PPIP and submit for assessment by April 22, 2013.
