Submitting Proposals in Several Languages: A Survival Guide

Thursday, May 26, 2016 | 3:50 PM - 4:50 PM | Commonwealth

Karine Besson
While it is often assumed that English is the language of business, many companies expect to work in their local language. And many bidders use language as a key differentiator to demonstrate that they understand the local culture of their prospects. Whether submitting proposals in several languages is a constraint or a choice, being well prepared is key. In this session, attendees will see examples of sales cycles involving translation as well as some tips for handling translation issues in the short and long terms.

Karine Besson is a certified translator. She has worked as a proposal manager, translator, editor and technical writer for more than 15 years.
