Promoting Proposal Partnerships: Working with Internal Customers to Grow and Retain Business
Saturday, May 28, 2016 | 10:50 AM - 11:50 AM | Back Bay AB
Understanding
the importance of key stakeholders in the proposal process is essential to
delivering winning proposals. The goal: retain existing business and win new
business. This session focuses on best
practices learned from initiatives dedicated to building partnerships with
internal proposal partners. Focusing on sales and subject matter experts, we
will explore engaging internal partners critical to overall success in a
meaningful way, gaining buy-in from senior leadership, implementing a
top-down communication strategy and reviewing initiatives, such as workshops
and SLAs, that build stronger partnerships.
As senior
manager of Training & Development,
Alison Bukowski works with internal
stakeholders to establish training strategies, drive implementation of
training solutions, and identify and communicate training best practices. She
also leads a team dedicated to proposal quality and data analysis. Prior to
joining Optum, she spent 10 years in marketing and proposal development roles
within the IT and education industries. Alison received her B.A. degree from
the University of Minnesota.
