APMP has 26 chapters throughout the world. The following is a short overview of each chapter and its chapter leader(s).


APMP ANZ Chapter

The APMP ANZ Chapter is for all proposal professionals in Australia and New Zealand, and also for those in the Asia Pacific region where no local APMP chapter currently exists. Members currently stretch all the way from Perth to Wellington. The ANZ Chapter was formed in 2008, and dedicated in particular to increasing recognition in this region of the value of professional proposal development.

The APMP California Chapter serves approximately 200 proposal and capture professionals. Membership meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of every other month, via webcast. The chapter board arranges for great speakers with relevant and exciting topics that have broad audience appeal. Although bi-monthly meetings are virtual, the chapter arranges for numerous regional venues where local members can gather, tie-in and participate in the meeting, and network with other capture and proposal professionals. Its membership comes from a broad variety of industries, including aerospace, health care, bio-pharmaceuticals, academia, consulting, commercial companies, and self-employed professionals. The California Chapter board leadership welcomes member ideas and suggestions to offer exceptional service, benefits and value for our members.

APMP Carolinas Chapter

The APMP Carolinas Chapter was founded in 1998 and serves the North and South Carolina region. The chapter meets at least four times a year with dinner programs and speakers. The Carolinas Chapter is nationally recognized as an "outstanding" chapter for its active and consistent support of APMP membership events and activities. The Chapter also co-hosts the successful Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC), which has been held annually for more than 10 years and draws participants from across the country and internationally.

APMP Chesapeake Chapter

The APMP Chesapeake Chapter is located in and serves the central Maryland area. The chapter holds programs in a variety of locations within the Greater Maryland area, from Columbia and Annapolis to Timonium. The chapter also holds joint programs with the NCA Chapter in Rockville, MD.

APMP Colorado Chapter

The APMP Colorado Chapter serves proposal professionals from a wide range of industries and experiences located throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area. The interests of the members of this chapter include the process of planning, organizing, managing and producing winning proposals.

APMP Florida Sunshine Chapter

The APMP Florida Sunshine Chapter was chartered in 2007. Membership does not require Florida residency to be a chapter member. Although most of the chapter's affiliated members are in Florida, it welcomes chapter affiliation and involvement of APMP members anywhere, particularly in nearby states that have no chartered APMP chapters. The Florida Sunshine Chapter chapter is virtual. Members can attend its four annual general membership meetings via computer and telephone.

Chartered in 1994, the APMP Georgia Chattahoochee Chapter has earned a reputation as an innovative, active local organization. Its members come from Atlanta, other parts of Georgia, and neighboring states. The chapter holds five dinner meetings a year in northwest Atlanta and has co-hosted the Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC). Chapter events include valuable educational programs and an opportunity to network with peers in the proposal profession. The chapter welcomes any proposal professional from the Southeastern US to participate in its active program and affiliate with its active membership.

The purpose of the APMP Japan Chapter is to popularize proposal management in Japan by providing training to improve proposal skills and networking opportunities for professional development in Japan. The APMP Japan Board will contribute to further development of the APMP Body of Knowledge for members in this region.

The APMP Korea Chapter creates a community of bid and proposal professionals in Korea, providing training, certification and networking opportunities, as well as to protect the rights and interests of members in the region. The APMP Korea Chapter was formed in 2013, and is dedicated to increasing recognition of the value of professional proposal development in that region.

Founded in 2003, the Greater Midwest Chapter includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The chapter hosts monthly webinars featuring a range of topics related to all aspects of capture and proposal management. Additionally, the chapter hosts an annual conference and regional meet-n-greet events in the 12-state region. The chapter's website offers the option to join a mailing list to receive quarterly newsletters and  information about the chapter.

National Flag of India

The APMP India Chapter was established in 2011. Business and industry in North India  indicate the potential for several hundred members a country that represents one of the fastest growing economies in the world, with increasing growth in sectors such as Telecom, IT, Professional Services, Construction, Automobile, Banking and Insurance. These industries request and respond to proposals yet still lack professional proposal managers and organizations that offer a platform to exchange ideas and views.

APMP Ireland Chapter

APMP Ireland Chapter was chartered in 2011 as a chapter for all APMP members in Eire and Northern Ireland.

APMP New York Metro Chapter

Chartered in 2007, the APMP Liberty Chapter, formerly the APMP NY Metro Chapter, serves members who live or work in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut and provides a forum for education, the exchange of information, and social gatherings for area proposal managers. Due to the large geographic area served, the chapter holds "virtual” (conducted by teleconference) and in-person meetings. The group meets at least once a quarter; local coordinators within each state organize smaller, in-person group meetings for members close by.

APMP Lone Star Chapter

In January 2016, the Greater Houston Chapter and Lone Star Chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) merged to form the new APMP Lone Star Chapter. This merger is an exciting step for all of our APMP members in Texas and surrounding states.  Our combined leadership, resources, and experience will allow for tremendous growth, education, and networking opportunities for our members. We are all very excited about this new step forward for our chapter!

The APMP Maple Leaf Virtual Chapter encompasses all of Canada and was charted in 2007. Chapter meetings are held virtually. All that is required is a computer, Internet access to view presentations and a telephone to call into the toll-free conference calls.

The APMP Mid-South Chapter serves industry professionals in Alabama, Central and West Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. The chapter was formed in 2013. A core Chapter goals is to provide education and networking through face-to-face and virtual meetings. Join the Mid-South Chapter, and connect with the LinkedIn Group.

APMP NCA Chapter

The APMP National Capital Area Chapter started in 1992 and now has more than 1,000 affiliated members—making it one of the largest APMP chapters. The members share a common interest in learning the best approaches to winning government and commercial business. The chapter is a premier source for the information, knowledge and connections essential to success as a business development professional in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and the greater Mid-Atlantic region.

De Association of Proposal Management Professionals NL (APMP NL) is de Nederlandse afdeling van APMP.

APMP Nordic Chapter

De virksomheder der har succes, er dem der har indset vigtigheden af at arbejder professionelt og målrettet med Business Development forstået som salg og tilbudsgivning. For disse virksomheder og deres medarbejdere er der etableret et nordisk chapter af det internationale APMP. APMP Nordic Chapter er en forening af professionelle, der arbejder med at udforme vindende tilbud for deres respektive virksomheder, og som gennem foreningen skaber et forum, hvor medlemmerne kan udveksle erfaringer, bygge netværk og udvikle deres kompetencer indenfor dette felt.

APMP Nor'easters Chapter

The APMP Nor'easters Chapter, reactivated in 2005, serves proposal professionals in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The members are employed in the commercial and government sectors and span a variety of industries. Some members are new to proposal development, while others are seasoned pros. All are interested in learning the latest advances in proposal development from like-minded peers and outside consultants. The chapter meets every other month (in person and virtually) in the Greater Boston area.

APMP Pacific Northwest Chapter

The APMP Pacific Northwest Chapter is the home chapter for APMP members in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Localized groups currently gather in places like Portland, Seattle, Richland, and Anchorage to participate in "virtual meetings” held using web-based and telephonic tools. The chapter conducts four meetings per year: in February, April, September, and November.

APMP South Africa Chapter

The APMP South Africa Chapter was founded in 2009 and serves all nine South African provinces. The commitment is to meet at least four times a year to bring members the latest information from the APMP, as well as present proposal and bid management experts to share experiences and tips. The goal of these sessions is for like-minded professionals to share knowledge, network, and improve the proposal management profession in South Africa.

The APMP Tidewater Chapter primarily serves APMP members in the Hampton Roads Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. The goal is to offer educational and networking events for current and future APMP members. The chapter fosters interest and awareness of business development and proposal standards of excellence in the local region. As the first Virginia-based chapter, the APMP Tidewater Chapter offers local area professionals the opportunity to join a growing group of business development and proposal practitioners.

APMP UK is the APMP chapter in the United Kingdom and was founded in 2001. Through association and education, the chapter provides members with access to tools, methods, processes, innovations, talent and specialized expertise that can directly improve the ability to acquire new business and to sustain growth and competitiveness. The chapter meets each month, to listen to a selection of business-winning experts from a variety of backgrounds, presenting on a multitude of topics. The flagship event is the annual conference held in October, which has become the must-attend event for any business winning professional in Europe serious about advancing knowledge and skills from some of the finest experts from across the world.

APMP Valley of the Sun Chapter

The APMP Valley of the Sun (VotS) Chapter serves members in Arizona and New Mexico, and was the first chartered chapter.
