a new perspective, including design as a key driver in communicating your
message and the credibility, effectiveness and success of your proposal.
Design elements are explored — not only graphics, but typography, layout,
color palette, the balance of color and white space, and overall feel of the
proposal. Methods for creating effective designs that have proven successful
are shared, including identifying traits of a great design lead, welcoming
graphic artists in technical solution discussions and overall design
decisions, and more.
co-owns/operates Salentis International, providing extensive proposal
and communications management expertise for government and commercial
contracts globally. She has directed and assisted the development of more
than 85 proposals for contracts worth more than $68B total and authored
several writing/style guides and proposal presentation methods for multiple
production departments. She is also a co-founder of ProposalGurus.com. Prior
to contracting, she earned her Bachelor’s in English Education, minoring in
Nonfiction Writing. She taught in China.

transitioned into a commercial career in remote
sites logistics in the Middle East, West Africa and Afghanistan before
transitioning to the proposal world. He has participated in the development
of proposals for government and commercial contracts worth a total in excess
of $70B. Aaron has a B.A. in English and an M.B.A. in Finance, among other
, co-founder of ProposalGurus.com, runs a successful proposal design
company, Integrated Design. With a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts and more than 20
years’ experience, she has performed design services on more than 200
proposals, leading design efforts on over 100, including projects for U.S.
and foreign governments, as well as commercial clients. Anita also trains
designers and graphic artists on design, including design software, strategy,
workflow solutions, presentation methods, and effective graphic development.
