What You'll Learn

Content libraries have introduced a whole new way to create proposals -- develop standard proposal sections, tag them accordingly, then plug-and-play and customize when it's time to create a bid. Unfortunately, the old adage of "garbage in, garbage out" holds true for content libraries. What do you do when you realize your library is full of 5,000+ entries -- some outdated, some redundant, and some just bad? This presentation will describe a strategy for starting (or cleaning up) a content library, regardless of the type of system you house it in.

This session will include the presenter's own experiences, plus best practices from companies she's worked with: Fiserv, BlueCross BlueShield, Rockwell Collins, and others.

Key takeaways

Attendees will learn:

  1. What to include in a content library
  2. How to organize it
  3. How to maintain it on an ongoing basis
