In 2016 the inaugural APMP ANZ Conference was held in Melbourne, attracting 150 delegates and speakers from sectors including accounting, construction, engineering, government, information technology and law.

With the announcement of our 2017 Conference to be held in Sydney on 29 and 30 August 2017, we are now seeking speaker nominations.

The conference theme - ‘Limitless’ - will explore how proposal professionals can advance their careers, instigate change and broaden their thinking to move beyond the current limits of their organisations or roles, ultimately advancing the profession.

Speaker positions for the 2017 event are limited and will provide:

  • An unparalleled opportunity to share valuable knowledge, skills and experience with a unique audience from around the ANZ region
  • The ability to strengthen your networks and build your personal brand, cementing your position as an expert in your field, and
  • The opportunity to help build capability within the proposal profession.
Professionals interested in speaking at this event are invited to submit a brief abstract (maximum one page) with the following information:
  • Presenter profile (name, title, short bio and relevant qualifications)
  • Topic description
  • Audience rating (introductory, intermediate or advanced)
  • Target audience
  • Why is it important for audience members to attend this session now? What are the situational/environmental factors that make a strong case for your session?
  • Problems or issues that the session will address for each target audience listed above
  • Specific knowledge/skill takeaways for each target audience listed above - no more than five
  • What will attendees be able to do differently or better on their next day on the job after attending this session?
Suggested topic areas include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Advancing your career in your organisation
  • Art direction and graphic design
  • Bid management best practice
  • Business development best practice
  • Capture planning and strategy
  • Change management
  • Influencing
  • Negotiation skills
