Data Call Approach for Proposal Management

Wednesday, May 25, 2016 | 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM | Fairfax A

Mitch Reed
Capture and proposal managers leading proposal efforts involving subcontractors often need critical data to properly prepare and submit a fully compliant proposal. Managing data calls is as much art as it is method. This presentation offers basic guidelines and an approach to managing time-sensitive data requests that help teammates understand what data is needed, why specific data is being requested, and how the data is used, increasing their willingness to comply completely and quickly; methods to create data call request and tracking forms; and common data most often needed.

Currently Director Sales Operations, Mitch Reed, CPP APMP, has more than 25 years’ proposal/capture management experience. Mitch is experienced leading large, complex IDIQ as well as full and open proposal projects involving multiple teaming partners, teammates and subcontractors for the DoD and government agencies. Mitch is a published author and speaker at three previous APMP international conferences, including regional and local chapter meetings. He was awarded the APMP John Elder Journal Award.
