APMP Announces first Salary Survey/Compensation Report to Serve its UK Members

APMP, the global association representing more than 1,700 bid, proposal, business development and opportunity management professionals in the United Kingdom, announced today that it will launch its first Salary Survey/Compensation Report this month in the UK.

The APMP Salary Survey and resulting Compensation Report will be administered by Alan Jones & Associates (AJA), a UK firm specializing in detailed compensation and benefit analysis for non-profit organizations. AJA was selected following an RFP process that generated four responses from professional survey organizations. The result will be a comprehensive report of up-to-date and relevant comparative data on pay and benefits throughout the United Kingdom’s bid management industry.

The APMP Salary Survey will be sent to APMP members Monday January 8, 2018 and the 2018 APMP UK Compensation Report will be available to all members in late March 2018.

“APMP’s Board voted to fund and execute an independent salary survey and compensation report to benefit the more than 1,700 UK members,” said Rick Harris, APMP Executive Director. “This piece of research will be unique because it will be produced by the association that represents the industry and will be a tool for both professionals and their organizations to level set compensation and benefit expectations within their organizations.”

APMP has a history of providing meaningful salary surveys and compensation reports for its members. In addition to the U.S. Salary Survey/Compensation Reports in the U.S., the association has produced reports either with or for its members in South Africa and Australia/New Zealand. Because of the volume of APMP members in the United Kingdom, APMP’s Board believed an independent, industry vetted and vendor-neutral Salary Survey and Compensation Report was needed.

Each APMP Salary Survey follows a format that polls its members for salary information, organizes the data and presents it in a logical and business format that allows industry professionals and their companies to test their salaries.

All APMP Salary Surveys are sent exclusively to APMP members. “We’ve found through experience that exclusively polling APMP members gives our members the most reliable data which allows for the most proactive salary negotiations,” said Harris.

He said that APMP Salary Surveys and Compensation Reports provide the facts, figures and trends to help its members on their path to greater professional development in their chosen profession.
