APMP Expands Global Certification Opportunities through Bid Services
Friday, March 16, 2018
The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP®), the global voice for proposal management certification, announced today that Bid Services has become their newest APMP Approved Training Organization (ATO).
This Ireland-based firm becomes the 13th ATO authorized to offer APMP-Foundation™ level training. It will concentrate its efforts across the entire island of Ireland, servicing candidates both north and south of the border. Bid Services also provides tender support and coaching delivered by consultants that are APMP certified.
"We welcome Bid Services into our growing family of APMP ATO’s that support our certification program,” said Rick Harris, Executive Director of APMP. "We are impressed with their enthusiasm to provide APMP certification training in Ireland.” Bid Services offers tender advisory, support, and training services to both the public and private sectors.
All prospective ATOs must go through an exhaustive approval process to ensure they meet the high quality course delivery of APMP certification standards. The process includes designating a lead trainer, attending and auditing workshops, developing course materials that meet APMP certification standards and having those materials approved. They must also demonstrate a successful record of training professionals.
Roisin Mallon (CPP.APMP), Northern Ireland Director, Bid Services, said, "This is a tremendous opportunity for our company to increase the number of qualified proposal professionals in Ireland. We believe APMP certification is the best way for individuals and organizations to develop internationally recognized, high-level competence in formal bidding, validating their roles within their respective organizations. We are very pleased to be part of the worldwide team, supporting bid professionals to achieve recognition, validation, and bidding success”
