APMP Announces the 2015 Board of Directors Call for Nominations
APMP Seeks Strategic Leaders to Join Current Board Members

Washington, DC, September 3, 2014APMP®, the association for proposal bid, capture, business development, sales and marketing and graphics professionals, is giving its members a chance to self-nominate for the  2015 Board of Directors, to serve from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016.

The new APMP Board members will elected by APMP’s current Board members, who will judge and score each prospective APMP Board candidate, based on the following list of criteria.

APMP Board Nomination Criteria

  1. Achieved some level of APMP Certification (Foundation, Practitioner or Professional)

  2. Have not previously served on APMP’s Board

  3. Have present or past chapter leadership experience

  4. Be a decision-maker in their organization

  5. Be able to attend at least six conference call Board meetings, annually, and at least one in-person Board meeting, annually

  6. Be able to serve a two-year term

Nominations must be sent by Monday, September 15, 2014 5:00 PM EST USA by e-mail to Rick Harris, Executive Director, APMP at

APMP will select up to nine new Board members for the 2015 – 2016 term. The APMP Board will also elect an Executive Committee, based on candidates with a minimum of two years’ service on the Board and an application process where candidates make a presentation and personal statement to the current Board members.
