APMP 2015 – 2016 Board of Directors Class is Confirmed
Representatives Committed to Providing Strategic Leadership to the Association

Washington, DC, November 5, 2014 – The Association of Proposal Management Professionals® (APMP®), today announced the new Board of Directors class, nominated and elected by the association’s Board of Directors to provide leadership and guidance for growth during their 2015 – 2016 term.

APMP continues to serve as the international association for proposal bid, capture, business development, and marketing/graphics professionals, providing global certification, best practices and networking opportunities. The 2015 – 2016 Board-elect representatives will build on the association’s record membership, annual conference attendance and certified industry member growth.

"This APMP Board of Directors class represents thought leaders committed to working together to develop industry initiatives that advance member benefits and resources. They are dedicated to increasing the tools, training and guidance for APMP members and chapter leaders,” said Rick Harris, Executive Director, APMP. "This is especially important, following three years of APMP member growth of 10 percent or more and as we build our profile among industry communities.”

APMP received 30 nominations for 2015 – 2016 Board of Directors consideration. Board candidates either self-nominated or were nominated by current APMP Board of Directors.  They were then assessed by the Board, based on criteria that measured skills, experience and achievements. The top candidates were invited to serve on the Board.

On January 1, 2015, Suzanne Jones, CP APMP, Northrop Grumman Information Systems, will assume the role of APMP’s CEO, replacing Colleen Jolly, CPP APMP Fellow, 24-Hour Company, who will transition to Past CEO. Nicolas Adams, CF APMP, Teradata UK Ltd., was elected to serve as the 2015 COO.
