APMP Hires New Director of Marketing and Communications

 (Washington, DC) — December 16, 2011 — The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP®), the worldwide authority for professionals dedicated to the process of winning business through proposals, bids, tenders, and presentations, announced today that it has named Patrice Scheyer as its new Director of Marketing and Communications.

Patrice is a thirteen year senior marketing professional experienced in creating and executing innovative marketing strategies, driving revenue and profit growth within the association community. Her areas of expertise include brand development, online marketing, SEO, project management, executive event management and membership development. She is also fluent in Spanish and excels at association member/customer relations.

Ms. Scheyer spent the last three years as Director of Marketing and Communications with the Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA) and before that held similar positions with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the International Communications Industries Association (ICIA).

"Patrice has an incredible reputation in the association community for her brand marketing and overall communications skills. Ms. Scheyer was selected from 109 applicants and will join APMP on January 2, 2012. She will also be at the APMP Board of Director's meeting on February 3, 2012 to meet the incoming and returning APMP Board members.
