Surviving the Death March: Stress Reduction

It's 2:30 AM. You’re a proposal manager, hanging over your 12th cup of coffee until the next revision comes in. You are burning out.  But what if you could regenerate your body and mind in 30 minutes of focused breathing? What if you could maintain physical and emotional stamina for yourself and your team? In this experiential workshop, you will learn yoga techniques of focused breathing and meditation; stretches you can do anywhere - at your desk, on an airplane, etc.; diet for vitality; and sounds, tones and internal dialog to keep calm, vital and focused.

Jennifer Roberts, a native of Illinois, is a proposal manager who knows how to cope with deadlines. In a stress-filled career that spans the demanding newspaper industry, she has acquired the techniques and lifestyle practices to sail like a smooth ship through rough waters and reach the destination unscathed and on time. With lifelong practices of meditation, yoga, Tai Chi, and vegetarian diets, she is also trained in the yogic traditions of the Himalayas.
