Session Description

Positive Impact! Transforming Feedback into Continuous Improvement

Our organization struggled for years to develop a meaningful Post-Mortem process. We realized that collecting post-submission data could "“ and should "“ serve as more than a forum for finger-pointing, complaining about losses or glossing over wins, or having a process for process' sake. We wanted to achieve a more engaging process, be selective in which proposals were evaluated, develop action plans from feedback, and communicate results to all stakeholders "“ from senior staff to account leaders to individual end user functions (bid management, writing, editing, design, production). We gained traction by turning the initiative positive "“ renaming it Lessons Learned. Participation in surveys and post-survey discussions increased, offering wider perspective on issues to consider for action. All end users receive these results along with feedback from lottery customers for big-picture understanding and quality improvement implementation.
