Session Description

The Proposal Lone Ranger - Managing Life as a Proposal Team of One

Many companies in the commercial and regional government markets operate small proposal centers to manage their proposal process. Part of a small, often decentralized team, these proposal professionals individually support a proposal for a division or group. As a proposal team of one, they manage all aspects; including coordinating, writing, editing, creating graphics, and production. They often manage more than one proposal at a time. Participants will learn how to embrace the whirlwind nature of the small proposal center. They will learn techniques for adapting best practices to suit their environment, managing multiple teams at once, managing time effectively, and reducing stress. They will also learn how to bring proposal best practices to their centers and leverage what they know to make the proposal process more efficient. Participants will learn techniques for adapting best practices to suit their environment, managing multiple teams at once, managing time effectively, and reducing stress.
