He is a member of the APM Contracts and Procurement Specific Interest Group and the Project Data Analytics community.

What does being an APMP Fellow mean to you?

Recognition of the value of our profession and the contribution we make. As a Fellow, I am privileged to be part of a unique community. I use that to encourage and foster connections and dialogue with other professional organizations and those seeking to move the dial on performance.

What's your best memory from attending an APMP event?

The people you meet there. A presentation on how the London 2012 Olympics bid was won: how the team engaged with stakeholders and offered a vision that went beyond compliance and value issues and connected emotionally with decision-makers.

What advice do you have for a proposal professional entering our field?

Seek out those who look for truth. Shun those who have found it.

Acquiring this micro-certification allows me to expand my aperture regarding the collaboration between capture and proposal management to develop more robust, customer-centric Executive Summaries for future pursuits. It allows me to advance my skill set, evolve my knowledge, and reflect my commitment to continuous learning.
