Poor Procurement Language and RFP Hotline

APMP has established this electronic hotline so you can alert us to poor procurement language or RFPs issued by government agencies and others.

We’ll consider your requests and directly reach out to the agencies or customers and let them know why their RFPs should be reviewed, so you don’t have to.

APMP pledges to keep your information confidential. It will not be shared with the agency or customer.

APMP’s Procurement Improvement Committee (PIC) will review each Poor Procurement Language and RFP complaint sent and let you know how we handled it.

Reason You Think The Procurement Language Is Poorly Written, Unnecessarily Exclusionary or Does Not Comply with Best Procurement Practices: (up to 300 words)

Again, your complaint will be held in the strictest confidence. APMP staff will ask the questions and or challenge the poorly written RFP and procurement language so you don’t have to. Thank you for sharing and here is an example of how APMP and its members recently reversed a poor RFP recommendation through a U.S. federal agency.
