The APMP ANZ Chapter serves all proposal professionals in Australia and New Zealand. The chapter also serves members in the Asia Pacific region in locations including Singapore and Hong Kong. The ANZ Chapter was formed in 2008 and is a vibrant and growing chapter, dedicated to increasing recognition of the value of professional proposal development. The APMP Carolinas Chapter was founded in 1998 and serves the North and South Carolina region. The chapter meets at least four times a year with dinner programs and speakers. The Carolinas Chapter is nationally recognized as an "outstanding" chapter for its active and consistent support of APMP membership events and activities. The Chapter also co-hosts the successful Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC), which has been held annually for more than 10 years and draws participants from across the country and internationally. The Colorado Chapter of APMP that serves the Rocky Mountain Region has approximately 300 members from across Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and the Intermountain West. The chapter delivers a variety of engagement opportunities and educational content to our members. We host monthly webinars on a variety of proposal-related topics, periodic in-person events in our hub locations, opportunities to work toward your next level certification, and offer various tools and support to help our members thrive within the industry. APMP Costa Rica is the youngest chapter of APMP, the global industry body, and community for bid and proposal management professionals. It was formed in Jan 2023 and is dedicated to increasing recognition of Bid & Proposal Professionals in the Latin American region. The APMP Florida Sunshine Chapter was chartered in 2007. Membership does not require Florida residency to be a chapter member. Although most of the chapter's affiliated members are in Florida, it welcomes chapter affiliation and involvement of APMP members anywhere, particularly in nearby states that have no chartered APMP chapters. Chartered in 1994, the APMP Georgia Peach State Chapter has earned a reputation as an innovative, active local organization. Its members come from Atlanta, other parts of Georgia, and neighboring states. The chapter holds a combination of virtual and dinner meetings in Atlanta and has co-hosted the Southern Proposal Accents Conference (SPAC). Chapter events include valuable educational programs and an opportunity to network with peers in the proposal profession. Founded in 2003, the Greater Midwest Chapter includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The chapter hosts monthly webinars featuring a range of topics related to all aspects of capture and proposal management. Additionally, the chapter hosts an annual conference and regional meet-n-greet events in the 12-state region. The APMP India Chapter was established in 2018 & is headquartered in Pune, which is a prominent business hub in the western part of India. APMP India will strive to work with the large community of professionals and serve the growing needs of a rapidly growing economy. Chartered in 2007, the APMP Liberty Chapter, formerly the APMP NY Metro Chapter, serves members who live or work in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut and provides a forum for education, the exchange of information, and social gatherings for area proposal managers. Due to the large geographic area served, the chapter holds "virtual” (conducted by teleconference) and in-person meetings. In January 2016, the Greater Houston Chapter and Lone Star Chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) merged to form the new APMP Lone Star Chapter. This merger is an exciting step for all of our APMP members in Texas and surrounding states. The APMP Maple Leaf Virtual Chapter encompasses all of Canada and was charted in 2007. Chapter meetings are held virtually. The APMP Nor'easters Chapter, reactivated in 2005, serves proposal professionals in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The members are employed in the commercial and government sectors and span a variety of industries. Some members are new to proposal development, while others are seasoned pros. All are interested in learning the latest advances in proposal development from like-minded peers and outside consultants. The APMP Pacific Northwest Chapter is the home chapter for APMP members in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Localized groups currently gather in places like Portland, Seattle, Richland, and Anchorage to participate in "virtual meetings” held using web-based and telephonic tools. Established on July 15, 2021, the APMP Western Chapter was formed from a merger of the APMP Valley of the Sun Chapter and the APMP California Chapter, both chapters with long histories. The Valley of the Sun Chapter was the very first APMP chapter to be chartered, founded by the late Howard Nutt, CF APMP Fellow, in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1991, only two years after APMP itself was founded. The California Chapter was formed in 2012 from the merger of the Northern California (NorCal) and Southern California (SoCal) chapters: the NorCal chapter grew from the Golden Gate chapter, APMP Chapter No. 6, chartered in 1994 and the SoCal chapter was chartered in 1996 as APMP Chapter No. 10.
