Board of Directors Nomination Form

APMP has one (1) vacancy for its 2025-2076 Board of Directors term. We invite all interested APMP members to nominate themselves to fill these vacancies. You may declare yourself a candidate after carefully reading the information outlined below.

Requirements

  1. Your APMP Membership must be current.
  2. You must be able to serve from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027. You are nominating for a three-year term.
  3. You must be available to prepare for and attend up to six Board meetings per year. You are responsible for covering your costs and time out of the office to meet this commitment. Some employers help with your costs and time out of the office, so please check with your organization before self-nominating.
  4. You must be able to perform your assigned duties as a Board member in a proactive, effective, and timely manner.
  5. APMP offers some assistance to Board members outside the United States to help defray the high cost of travel. The face-to-face meetings include:
    • There will be a face-to-face all-day Board Meeting at Bid & Proposal Con in Nashville, TN, USA, on Sunday, May 18, 2025 (mandatory attendance either onsite or by teleconference).
  6. You must be able to attend bi-monthly (six times a year) APMP Board of Director Conference Microsoft Teams calls on the fourth Thursday of the month they are held.
    • If you miss more than two (2) meetings per year, you may be asked to resign.
  7. You must have achieved and been maintaining CEUs/CPDs for at least APMP Foundation.
  8. It is preferable that you are not currently serving on your chapter's Board of Directors. We want your full focus to be on APMP HQ activities. However, prior industry leadership, such as an officer or active participant in your local chapter or another Board, is preferable. It is preferable that you are a decision-maker in your department/organization with some budget responsibilities.
  9. If elected, you must sign a standard APMP Conflict of Interest Policy Statement and Non-Disclosure Agreement before taking office.
  10. Candidates who meet APMP’s defined DE&I Strategic Plan are encouraged to apply to serve on the Board.  You can read APMP’s DE&I strategic plan here
