The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) provides this website as a service to its members and to the public, in furtherance of its mission as a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit corporation.

APMP® Online Community Rules, Etiquette and Legal Disclaimer

APMP Online Communities Rules

By joining and/or using the APMP Online Communities (Online Communities), you agree that you have read and will follow the rules and guidelines set for the Online Communities discussion groups. You also agree to reserve Online Communities discussions for topics best suited to the profession. Basic questions about APMP as an organization either should be sent to Contact Us on the APMP website at www.apmp.org.

As with any community, there are guidelines governing behavior on the Online Communities. For instance, violating antitrust regulations, libeling others, selling, and marketing are not permissible. Please follow these important guidelines. If you have questions, post or send your question to Contact Us on the APMP Website.

APMP reserves the right to remove or delete postings that violate the Online Communities rules, and to suspend or terminate Online Communities privileges.

Please post discussion messages to the appropriate Online Communities topic.

  • Do not post commercial messages in the Online Communities.
  • Do not post sales product information, solicitations to attend workshops or pay-to-attend services.
  • Chapter announcements and discussions may be posted in their respective Chapter Online Communities only. Announcements posted in an inappropriate group/forum will be moved to the appropriate chapter group/forum, or deleted from inappropriate groups/forums.
  • Consider that information posted in the Online Communities is available for all to see, and that inappropriate comments subject the Online Communities User who posts a message to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.
  • You agree not to post any abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, slanderous, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being permanently banned from your communities or to having your APMP membership suspended. Note that all IP address are logged and may aid in enforcing these conditions.
  • All Online Communities message content that is defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal is strictly prohibited. APMP reserves the right to remove or delete all postings that violate the forum rules, and to suspend or terminate Online Communities posting privileges for those who violate the Online Communities rules.
  • You agree that the owners and operators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the owners and operators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
  • This system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure.
  • You agree not to use any automated tools for registering and/or posting on in Online Communities. By failing to obey this rule you would be granting us permission to repeatedly query your web server.
  • Links that may be unsafe or posted without opening and closing url tags will be removed from postings.
  • It is impossible for APMP and operators to confirm the validity of all posts. Posts reflect the views and opinion of the author, but not necessarily of APMP and operators. If you feel that a posted message is questionable, it is encouraged to notify an administrator immediately.
  • APMP reserves the right to reproduce content posted to the Online Communities.

APMP Online Communities Etiquette

  • Online Communities discussions are meant to stimulate conversation. Do not challenge or compose personal attacks on other Online Communities Users.
  • Messages should be concise and clear. Avoid composing very lengthy postings.
  • You may include a signature on all messages, even if you wish to identify yourself as Anonymous. You may choose to include your real name, chapter affiliation, and location.
  • Include or display your email address at your own risk since www.apmp.org is available to view by all Internet users.
  • State concisely and clearly the specific topic of the comments in subject lines. This allows members to respond appropriately to your postings and makes it easier for members to search the Online Communities by subject.
  • Do not post administrative messages, such as a request to be removed from a subscription, to the APMP Online Communities. Basic questions about your APMP membership should be sent to [email protected] or the Contact form on the APMP website.
